  • Why Devil's Club?

    • Traditionally wild Devil’s Club is used to help the body adapt and heal from stress, illness, anxiety, and to aid in the treatment of deep tissue pain and arthritis

    • Devil's Club surrounds the undergrowth of the Tongass National Forest. Its large palmate leaves produce abundant red berries, and every spring and fall, the medicine passes through the phloem (inner bark) to produce these leaves. We harvest the inner bark medicine in late fall or winter.

    • Devil's club has a pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.

    • The inner bark and roots are used medicinally.

    Why Sitka Alder?

    • Alder soothes the skin, relives the pain, and reduces swelling and inflammation.

    Why Comfrey?

    • Comfrey salve is used to treat back pain and relives bone and joint pains.

    Why Cottonwood Buds?

    • Cottonwood bud oil is very effective for relieving pain and inflammation in swollen joints, carpal tunnel, arthritis, and muscles.
